The Team

I have been working as a Parish Nurse in Capel since we started the service in 2017. I worked as a Practice Nurse across Essex and Suffolk for over a decade. I have additional qualifications in diabetes and respiratory. My passion is respiratory medicine: improving the timely diagnosis of respiratory conditions and ensuring appropriate treatment and education. I live in Capel with my husband, two children and our dog. In my spare time (what is that?) I enjoy spending time with family, walking in the countryside, playing board games and crocheting!

I retired in 2015 from the role of School Business Manager in a local primary school – a position which I had held for 21 years.

During that time I was also a school Governor for 16 years.

The requirements of these positions have enabled me to support the work of Parish Nurses from a financial and admin perspective.
